While browsing Mrs. Grapevine, I noticed this style trend that's been going on and off for the past year and a half-spandex tights!

Suddenly fashion savvy femmes like Mariah Carey, Kelly Rowland, Beyonce and Rihanna have worn this dreaded trend style.

Beyonce paired her black skin-tight Oxford cropped leggings with a pair of black and white Sergio Rossi sandals. Beyonce's foot gear is the same one Nia Long and Posh have rock earlier.

Mariah slip on a pair of black and white Giambattista Valli heels. These shoes are the very pair Nicole Scherzinger wore to present at the 2007 Video Music Awards.

Kelly Rowland dressed up her Oxford capris with a flirty Grecian-like black blouse and a chic pair of black ankle heels when she attended the 2006 VMAs Absolute party.

This style is for not anyone as these tights are transparent and borderline wardrobe malfunction. Case in point, Beyonce and Rihanna's unitard look:

Kardashian's love for Herve Leger bandage-like mini created an immediate hoopla around Tinseltown's style wonders.

Rihanna, Remy Ma, Vivica A Fox, Kelly Rowland, Kimora Lee Simmons, Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Nicole Richie, Catherine Zeta Jones, Jessica Biel, and Eve have joined what is now known as the "Herve Leger Hoopla."

Quite frankly, a Herve Leger mini is for the body conscious crew because of the killer curves a female wearing the dress would gladly flaunt.

Contrary to this new red carpet epidemic, Janet Jackson actually jumpstarted the trend at Francois Henri Pinault PPR dinner party at Paris Fashion Week last October.

In fact, Kim Kardashian rock the same purple Herve Leger dress in grey to the VIP dinner for the 2007 BET Awards.
